VMI Full Sized Conversions
Performance Mobility is an authorized dealer for all lines of the VMI full sized conversion vans. In association with Tuscany and Ricon, there are many different combinations and styles to fit everyone’s needs. These can include a center 6” lowered floor, raised roof, raised doors, platform lifts, stowage lifts, additional floor lowering, as well as all the luxury touches available from the Tuscany Van outfitters. All VMI full-size van conversion meet all applicable FMVSS safety standards and are available on the Ford E150 or E250 chassis.
Raised Roof and Lowered Floor Options
- Fiberglass raised roof has a reversed flange design
- Door extensions are a composite material eliminating potential for rust
- Roof Supports add structural integrity to the chassis to compensate for detail removed in raised roof and door process
- Lowered Floor passed FMVSS Safety Certification
- Air Bag module relocated under vehicle behind driver seat area
- Additional driver drop allows 2” ad added head room in driver position
- Optional Lon-Coin flooring provides a non-skid surface that can be wiped clean with a damp cloth
- Allows vehicle to be driven from wheelchair or allows wheelchair to be located in front passenger position
- Recessed seat belt retractors allow more room to maneuver adaptive equipment in and out of front driver and passenger positions.
